Hey there, I'm Katie. I build colorful brands for CEO moms, and I built my first one with a baby at my feet.

If your website is older than your toddler, it's time we had a talk.

I spent ten years in agency work before I started this studio. I was good at it, and I was also working past school pickup, then rushing to end the day, cook dinner, and still be a whole mom.

So I built my own thing. And I picked a palette off Pinterest, because I was building a brand with my second baby in my arms, praying for a way to make something that supported my family and gave me more time with my kids. I didn't even know who I was outside of motherhood then. I picked what was easy and got back to work.

Getting my color back is the whole reason this studio exists. I know what it costs to build something good and have it say nothing about you, because I did it to myself first. Now I build brands for women who are past the scrappy stage. You've grown a team, you've raised your prices, and the brand you're carrying is still the one you made when you were charging a third of what you charge now. I fix that, and it starts with color.

Most designers treat color as taste. Something to get right, get approved, and move on from. I treat it as an asset, because color is recognized faster than a name and held onto longer than a logo.

Recognition is the only thing a brand builds that keeps compounding after the invoice is paid. Every time someone knows you without having to work for it, the next impression costs less than the last. That's what the Color Currency Method is built to do, and it's why the work starts with color instead of ending there.

Think of your website as your 24/7 brand ambassador, working overtime for you even when you’re sleeping. If it looks great, it’ll attract your dream clients with ease, which means less cold outreach (phew), less self-promotion (yay!) and less time chained to your desk (after all isn’t that why you started your own business in the first place?!).

If you're looking for a colorful, elevated brand and web designer for CEO moms who gets what it takes to make your brand work harder for you — I'm your girl.

On Brand

Your brand should look like your real life, not a mood board. Here are a few pieces of mine.

I'm an early bird. You'll catch me embracing the early morning, chasing the sunrise with brisk walks, or sweating it out with my neighborhood fitness group.

You can always find me with an audiobook in one ear and a Kindle in hand. Want to compare Goodreads lists?

I'm an unapologetic homebody, the master of creating cozy nooks. Candles, plush blankets, and throw pillows galore. Working from home? The dream.

I'm a mom to four amazing kiddos who keep me on my toes. It's like a daily circus, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm all ears - audiobooks, podcasts, and a soft spot for folksy, soul-filled tunes. Think Hozier, Leon Bridges, NeedtoBreathe, Jervis Campbell, and Nathaniel Rateliff.

I love the great outdoors, but let's be honest, it's a strictly October to April affair. Texas summers you can find me in the pool.

Spicy margaritas are the only way to go.

I believe in sharing my God-given talents and give all glory to Him.

You haven't forgotten what you like. It's just been a while since anyone asked.

You can be exactly who you are and get paid for it.

If your brand doesn't look like you anymore, that's the work I do. Start with the Audit if you want to see what it's costing you, or book a call if you already know.
